The PADI Adventure Diver course is a sub-course of the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course. While the list of PADI Adventure Dives is long and interesting, the AOW course only requires the diver to complete 5. However, some divers may still prefer to try and learn more kinds of adventure dives from this list - and the PADI Adventure Diver Course is made especially for them! This is an exciting scuba diving course in India which helps the diver to work on gaining more confidence underwater and training for different kinds of dives and diving scenarios. There are several scuba diving institutes in India that offer this course.
PADI Adventure Divers can:
- Be certified to do a number of adventure dives from a long list of options - depending on their interests and capabilities.
PADI Adventure Diver course prerequisites:
- Must have completed the PADI Open Water Diver course or have an equivalent certification.
Must be in good physical health.
Must be 12 years or older.
To be a certified adventure diver, the diver must complete 3 adventure dives from a long list of options. Depending on your interests, your capabilities, or what you need to work on, you can choose from dives like underwater photography, fish identification, peak performance buoyancy, search and recovery, night diving and many more.
PADI Adventure Diver course equipment:
Apart from the basic scuba equipment, the Adventure Diver course consists of specialised dive gear which depends upon your choice of adventure dives such as using dive light for night diving or lift bag for search and recovery diving etc.
